OKLAHOMA CITY -- Supermarket chain Homeland emerged from bankruptcy last month as a fully owned subsidiary of Kansas City-based Associated Wholesale Grocers. The retailer's 43 stores throughout Oklahoma will continue to operate under the Homeland name. Associated is a retailer-owned cooperative that supplies more than 850 retail grocery stores in 10 states.
