I guess, you told about the best outcome. As far as I know the situation after bankruptcy is more miserable usually. People who face bankruptcy have to get a bad credit credit card and improve their credit history step by step. Besides, such a process is quite a long and difficult.
I totally agree, to repair one’s credit is a long process that demands a lot of patience. But the worst thing is credit card offers for bad credit. They usually come with higher interest rates and fees than on cards for average credit score. So, to rebuild credit takes not only a lot of patience and effort but a lot of money, as well.
